The Shave

My friend Brett Rogers had a beard. People knew him for it and it became part of him and his character. He recently made the decision to have it shaven off and asked me to document it. The procedure occured at a real old school barber in Melville. Its weird how an experience like this, even for the viewer, can create such an eerie atmosphere (as in a violent but slow violin piece should be played in the background) while a part of him was carved away.  I hope these stills I took carry this feeling through.
